Hawaiian pork

Ingrdients:

  • 500 gms pork (cubed)
  • 1 egg
  • 2tblsps flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • chicken or mutton stock, or plain water
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 3 cap sicums (chopped)
  • 1 tblsp cornflour
  • 1 ½ tblsps soya sauce
  • 2 tblsps sugar, 2 tblsps vinegar
  • A few pineapple pieces and parsley
Mix the egg, flour, salt, and pepper together. Dip the pork in egg batter and deep fry over a slow fire till golden Drain off excess oil, adding chicken stock and pineapple juice. Cook till the pork is almost tender; add the capsi-cums and continue cooking till the pork and vegetable are cooked. Prepare a sauce of cornflour, soya sauce, sugar, vinegar, and ¼ cup of waters; pour over the pork and decorate with pineapple pieces and parsley. Enjoy your delicious hawaiian Pork.
